Wanderers are wandering villagers that other players have given up for adoption. The adoption of a wanderer is available from the Town Hall menu. A new wanderer refreshes, cycling through other abandoned villagers.
Trivia
- During the beta launch, Wanderers kept their name and profile. After some hijinx this was changed so that names and villager profiles were reset after being abandoned, and all wanderers are simply renamed Wanderer.
