With many of us editing pages, I am sure others have noticed that certain sections on item pages vary. I know that I sometimes change the way things are written slightly from item to item.
I would like to take a step by step approach to standardizing how things are written.
Lets start with opening statements for starters.
(Note that I am not an English major.)
Contents[show] Reagent item sold in shops
Item Name is a component that is used by [Career] to create [costumes/equipment/potions/other]. It can be purchased at [Shop] for XXX.
Reagent item found by explorers
Item Name is a component that is found by Explorers in [Village].
Reagent item found by Warriors
Item Name is a component that is found by Warriors in [Village].
Recipe item found in Shops
Item Name is a recipe that allows [Career] to craft the [Crafted item]. It can be purchased at [Shop] for XXX.
Item Name can be planted by Herbalists and produce [Plant].
Item Name is grown by Herbalists from the [Seed].
Crafted item (Blacksmith/Construction)
Item Name is crafted by [Career] who know the [Recipe].
Item Name is crafted by Doctors. It cures [Illness].
Species Morphing Potion
Item Name changes a villager's species to [Species]. It can be crafted by Alchemists who know the [Species Morphing Potion Recipe].
Animals that were caught
Item Name is a [rarity] Animal that can be caught by Animal Husbandry villagers in [Village]
Animals that were bought
Item Name is a [rarity] Animal that can be purchased from [Shop] for XXX.
((I am assuming here that animals can be bred by any villager but has to be caught in a certain village.))
Extra language for items used by Multiple Careers
It can be used by [Career 1] and [Career 2] to create [Career 1 item type] and [Career 2 item type], respectively.
